Foggy Day in Portsmouth New Hampshire

THE NEW HOUSE :)

Thanksgiving with my family was lovely. Even though I had to work all week we made the best of it. Dinner in Boston on Turkey day and then up to Maine for the weekend. My parents have been living in Maine all fall while they renovate a house in Portsmouth. Some of you have heard quite a bit about this so I thought it was time to share a few photos !!! The house is completely finished on the outside now. How Beautiful is it !!!!! The house dates back to the mid 1700s and has been a huge over haul.

Its awesome to see the progress. This Sunday on our way back to Boston we took a foggy stroll around Portsmouth and got some lunch. The picture surrounding here are the yard around the house.

Luckily the house next door owns and takes care of all this lawn and they just get to enjoy looking at it :).

Our walk was very relaxing and it was nice to realize that now my family is going to be living on the water. Only two blocks from the ocean !?!?!? Yes please.

Two members of my family who apparently would like to be unnamed :)

We decided to stroll to a seafood place called Warrens which was just a short walk from the house.

Wait ? I thought we were leaving Maine !?!?!? The funny thing is Portsmouth and Kittery, ME are so close that we walked right to Maine for lunch.

This place was great ... a good place for fish and chips and some old people watching. I thoroughly enjoyed lunch.

I wrote our waitress a little note on the menu while enjoying an Allagash :)

After lunch we continued to stroll around the cute streets of Portsmouth. I love looking at all the old houses they as all so close together and brightly colored.

I am still so excited about how close to the ocean my parents will be living year round.

I'm sure James Nord would have had a field day with all this fog....

Overall it was great to see the house and I cant wait till my parents can finally move in there and we can enjoy all that Portsmouth has to offer !  Until then buy bye for now house ...
